SEN Teaching Assistant – Creative & Outdoor Learning Focus
Smart Education is currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join an inspiring specialist educational provision in Stourbridge. This unique setting provides a creative, therapeutic, and outdoor-focused curriculum designed to support children and young people with complex social, emotional, and educational needs.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils through engaging and meaningful activities that help build confidence, independence, emotional wellbeing, and life skills. The curriculum includes a range of practical and outdoor learning experiences such as:
- Pottery and textiles
- Cooking and food preparation
- Gardening and animal care
- Outdoor learning activities
You will play a key role in helping students feel safe, supported, and motivated to engage in education.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND and behavioural needs
- Encourage engagement through creative and outdoor learning activities
- Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
- Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:
