Job Requirements of a Teaching Assistant:
- Minimum 6 months experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant or supporting pupils with SEN
- Experience within a UK school setting (mainstream or SEN) as a SEN Teaching Assistant
- Enhanced Child or Child & Adult DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Role responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support as a SEN Teaching Assistant
- Support pupils with learning, behaviour and emotional regulation as a SEN Teaching Assistant
- Work collaboratively with teachers and wider staff teams as a SEN Teaching Assistant
