Responsibilities
- The Head of Digital is responsible for trading the core business in the UK and is a key hire for the Group.
- The scope of the role covers commercial trading and digital marketing – it’s highly visible, highly accountable and highly influential.
- Responsibilities include:
- Definition and execution of the trading strategy
- Development of trading initiatives
- Driving digital sales by converting site traffic
- Setting pricing across the UK trade companies
- Developing and managing the promotional strategy
- Monitoring key trading performance indicators to meet KPIs
- Working closely with the category management, analytics and technology teams to improve the customer experience/sales journey
- Managing and motivating a team of 5 plus agencies
Required Competences
- Solid experience of designing, launching and operating an IT and Digital platform
- Exceptional understanding of the IT and Digital platform components and commercials acquired as CTO in a telecom or energy organisation
- 3rd party supplier negotiations
- Commercially astute
- Tenacity and ability to deliver in an environment of rapid change
- Gravitas to influence at the most senior level
- Determined, resilient and controlled under pressure
