The successful candidate will provide consultation, assessment and treatment for a wide range of oral surgery referrals, delivering the highest standards of clinical care and patient experience. The role will involve management of complex and impacted extractions, including wisdom teeth surgery, retained roots and difficult surgical cases. Experience in soft tissue surgery, surgical exposure of impacted teeth, management of dental infections, oral lesion assessment and biopsy procedures will be advantageous.
You will be responsible for providing detailed treatment plans, clear communication with referring dentists and comprehensive clinical records. A collaborative approach is essential as you will work closely with our existing clinical team to deliver seamless multidisciplinary care. As our specialist services continue to expand, we are particularly interested in clinicians who can contribute to the development of a high-quality oral surgery referral pathway within the practice.
This opportunity is ideally suited to a Specialist Oral Surgeon or an experienced clinician with advanced training and a strong interest in oral surgery. The position is available initially for one day per month, with significant scope for growth as referral demand increases. You will be GDC registered with appropriate postgraduate training and experience in Oral Surgery. You should be confident managing a broad range of oral surgery procedures independently while maintaining exceptional standards of patient care and communication. Experience working within private practice and specialist referral environments would be highly desirable. Specialist Registration in Oral Surgery is welcomed, although applications from experienced clinicians with advanced oral surgery training and a proven track record will also be considered.
