The Grange Dental Clinic is seeking a Full-Time Dental Treatment Coordinator/Receptionist for our Dublin 13 location. This role offers flexible hours to suit your schedule, with extended practice hours between 8am and 7pm, designed to support both patient and staff needs for better care. You’ll be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they arrive, and you will also play a key role in guiding them through their treatment journey. You’ll be working alongside a highly experienced and supportive team of fully qualified dentists, dental nurses, practice managers, and our principal dentist, all committed to delivering outstanding patient care. As part of a growing group, you’ll be joining a wider family of 100+ surgeries across 35 dental practices throughout Ireland and England, offering excellent opportunities for development and progression.
Responsibilities
- Treatment Coordinator (TCO) Duties
- Present and explain treatment plans clearly and confidently to patients
- Support patients in understanding their treatment options and benefits
- Discuss and promote private treatments and finance options
- Follow up with patients regarding proposed treatments and conversions
- Build strong patient relationships to encourage trust and case acceptance
- Work closely with clinicians to ensure smooth treatment journeys
- Greet and assist patients warmly, creating a welcoming environment
- Manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle patient inquiries
- Maintain patient records with confidentiality and accuracy
- Coordinate patient appointments with the dental team
- Provide administrative support and assist with general office duties
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a dental or healthcare setting
- Previous experience in customer service or patient-facing roles
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence in discussing treatments and costs with patients
- Positive attitude with a focus on teamwork and patient care
