We are looking for a Test Governance Manager to lead a high-performing team within the Technology Integration and Assurance function at DCC (Data Communications Company). Sitting within our System Integration & Testing group, this is a strategic leadership role responsible for delivering governance and operational services that underpin DCC’s testing capability.
As Test Governance Manager, you will manage a team including a Test Governance Lead and Test Operations Leads. Together, your team will oversee the delivery of services spanning test governance, test operations, stakeholder advisory boards, regulatory compliance, people planning, and financial administration.
What will you be doing?
Test Governance & Operations
· Coordinate DCC’s engagement with the SEC Panel’s Testing Advisory Group (TAG), including planning, artefact production, and action management.
· Manage the Test Assurance Board (TAB), including scheduling, content preparation, and stakeholder engagement.
· Oversee test data analysis and performance reporting against SLAs and KPIs.
· Maintain a comprehensive library of test artefacts and ensure smooth operation of internal reporting processes.
People & Planning
· Support workforce planning, training coordination, recruitment processes, and onboarding/offboarding activities across the team.
· Maintain training records and manage future work demand discussions.
· Regulatory Advice & Financial Oversight
· Provide expert guidance on SEC and REC testing requirements and support policy engagement with SECAS, DESNZ, and other governing bodies.
· Support financial planning, including budget tracking, purchase orders, and spend monitoring.
· Lead and coach the team, manage performance and development, and champion continuous improvement.
· Represent the function across the wider System Integration & Testing leadership team.
