Are you a strategic, influential finance leader ready to drive value for money, shape major programmes, and guide a high-performing team? We’re looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner who will play a pivotal role in managing DCC’s cost base, supporting critical programmes, and partnering with senior stakeholders to ensure we operate efficiently and effectively within regulatory frameworks. How you will contribute to transforming the smart energy network and shaping the future:
- Lead Finance Business Partnering for key programmes and functions, acting as a trusted advisor in all financial decisions.
- Ensure DCC delivers value for money in line with Ofgem and DESNZ regulatory expectations.
- Develop and review business cases, contracts, and performance analyses to maintain strong financial control and alignment to the approved cost envelope.
- Collaborate with FP&A to deliver robust forecasts, reporting, and contribute to the transition to Service Family reporting.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Finance Business Partners, ensuring high performance and effective financial management.
What you need to bring:
- Proven experience influencing at Director or Executive level, with confidence managing demanding stakeholders.
- Strong leadership capability, with experience motivating and developing finance teams.
- Expertise in financial planning, forecasting, and building advanced financial models and reporting.
- Solid understanding of financial governance, controls, and risk/opportunity analysis.
- A recognised accounting qualification (CIMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent).
