As a PSO Analyst, you will provide value-add services and governance to support successful programme delivery. Working in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment, you’ll play a central role in ensuring best practices in project governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement, while maintaining a focus on continuous improvement.
What will you be doing?
· Provide insightful programme support including RAID management, reporting, and governance compliance.
· Prepare meeting packs, agendas, actions, and minutes with exceptional attention to detail.
· Present materials to varied stakeholders, including senior leadership.
· Analyse data to identify trends and drive improvements across programmes.
· Support lessons learned reviews and embed continuous improvement.
· Deputise for the PSO Manager where required in internal and external forums.
· Champion DCC behaviours – be accountable, act with integrity, and make a difference.
What are we looking for?
A results-driven, detail-oriented, and thrive in a collaborative environment. You are proactive, resilient, and bring a structured mindset to solving problems. You understand the value of great governance, clear reporting, and building strong relationships.
· 1+ years in a programme, portfolio, or PMO environment.
· Strong understanding of project governance, risk and issue management, planning, and reporting.
· Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written – with the ability to translate complex data for diverse audiences.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office (including Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio); experience with tools like Power BI is a plus.
· Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently under pressure.
· Experience in supporting large-scale transformation or delivery programmes.
Desirable Qualifications
· Bachelor\’s degree or equivalent experience.
· Industry certifications (e.g. APM, P3O, Prince2) or commitment to attaining them.
· Experience in the Energy sector or another regulated environment.
· Understanding of software delivery lifecycle and influencing senior stakeholders.
