Role Overview: Fantastic opportunity to secure a Programme Director role with DCC. The Programme Director will lead the delivery of complex projects and programmes (£100 million plus). The Programme Director will be self-directed, proactive, and have experience of leading multi-vendor technical delivery programmes.
Responsibilities:
- Defining project/programme objectives, outcomes and success criteria and developing the delivery strategy for required outcomes and agreeing with the programme sponsor.
- Securing resources and expertise from within DCC and providing coaching and leadership to team members, as required.
- Working with team members to identify and manage risks, develop mitigation strategies and resolve issues.
- Developing and maintaining clear, comprehensive programme schedules against which progress can be easily monitored.
- Supporting third Party Supplier procurement, supplier management and engagement with and coordination of the diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- An experienced Programme Director with a strong track record of managing and delivering multi-million pound (£100m plus) programmes with multiple stakeholders/customers.
- Ability to build relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders at a senior level.
- Procurement and management of 3rd party suppliers.
- Demonstrable experience in leading complex business transformation/migration programmes, 3rd party technology delivery/integration programmes, or significant procurement programmes.
- Demonstrable experience of building high performing cross-functional programme delivery teams and managing others to consistently deliver high quality within programme timescales.
