As a Treasury Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Head of Treasury and partnering across Finance and the wider business. This isn’t just about managing numbers—it’s about contributing to strategic decisions that safeguard liquidity, optimise financing, and enable growth. How you will contribute to transforming energy and shaping the future:
- You’ll deliver accurate cash flow insights, strengthen banking relationships, and create informative reporting for senior leaders.
- Your work will help ensure financial stability and support the delivery of critical programmes that underpin the UK’s smart energy infrastructure.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining short-term cash forecasts and monitoring liquidity.
- Support banking arrangements, including mandates, compliance, and account administration.
- Track financing activities and maintain accurate records of drawdowns and repayments.
- Prepare Treasury reports for month-end, quarterly, and year-end reporting cycles.
- Collaborate on process improvements and maintain Treasury systems for accurate reporting.
Your skills that will enable us to fulfil our purpose:
- Part-qualified AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or working towards a recognised treasury qualification (e.g., ACT Certificate).
- 1–2 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or treasury operations with exposure to cash management.
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups) and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP or similar).
- Ability to reconcile balance sheet accounts and produce accurate data for reporting.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams and stakeholders.
- Occasional travel to other DCC offices and Service Provider sites may be required.
