We’re looking for a highly capable and commercially minded Procurement Manager to join our growing Procurement team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in DCC’s sourcing transformation, delivering strategic and tactical procurement activity that directly supports our mission to build a smarter, greener energy system for Britain. How you will contribute to transforming energy and shaping the future:
- Lead and deliver sourcing activity across assigned categories and projects using strategic sourcing, negotiation and benchmarking techniques.
- Support DCC Directors and Executives in shaping and implementing procurement strategies for projects ranging up to ÂŁ100m+.
- Develop and implement supplier contracts that meet key commercial and contractual requirements.
- Provide expert procurement insight across areas such as Telecoms, Technology & IT, Security, Outsourcing, Innovation or Professional Services.
- Support DCC’s sustainability agenda through sourcing aligned to Net Zero goals.

- Extensive sourcing experience with a track record of delivering commercial value.
- Strong negotiation, dispute resolution and supplier management skills.
- Analytical capability, including market analysis, spend analysis and evaluating commercial responses.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally and influence stakeholders across a complex environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, aligned to DCC’s values of Make a Difference, Act with Integrity, and Be Accountable.
