IT Coordinator

Excellent opportunity to secure an initial 6 months day rate contract as an IT Co-ordinator. The IT Coordinator is onsite 5 days a work and performs a vital role providing administrative and team support to EIT, as well as first-line-level technical support to the Smart DCC business and IT systems users, working in collaboration with Capita Workspace Agility Teams. The role also supports the delivery of projects and BAU tasks across the wider Enterprise IT team.

What will you be doing?

1. Assist IT Analysts in technical support and request fulfilment
2. Monitor the EIT resolver group queue and shared mailbox and allocate tasks to team members
3. Assist IT Analysts in management and control of all IT stock
4. Provide administrative support for the delivery of EIT projects and BAU tasks
5. Maintain the EIT project and task portfolio
6. Collaborate closely with the Capita Workspace Agility support teams
7. First point of contact for ad hoc support of local users as required in the office environment

What are we looking for?

1. Experience in a similar role
2. Experience with asset management of IT equipment, ordering of consumables and disposal of redundant and broken items ensuring WEEE compliance
3. Experience with processing and GRN of Purchase Orders and invoice queries
4. Experience with maintaining all relevant documentation and publication/circulation on intranet or other reference portals
5. Experience providing cover and assistance to the IT Analysts as and when required
6. Experience with arranging and co-ordinating meetings, taking and distributing minutes and chase actions
7. Experience co-ordinating and collating reports from teams and systems on behalf of the IT Manager
