Salary Competitive Crisis Manager with Smart DCC London Only Competitive Salary plus benefits Role We are seeking an experienced Crisis Manager to join our Business Resilience team and lead our crisis management efforts. This role is pivotal in ensuring the alignment of crisis management strategies with Smart DCC objectives and industry best practices. What will you be doing? Support the Head of Business Resilience in developing a comprehensive Business Resilience framework, focusing on Crisis Management strategy in accordance with internal policies, procedures, and ISO 22361 and 22301 standards. Lead the creation and maintenance of Crisis Management Plans, playbooks, and flow charts, including collaborating with Internal and External Communications to develop clear messaging and press releases. Ensure clarity of roles and responsibilities within the Crisis Management Team (CMT) through training, awareness programs, and regular crisis exercises. Coordinate and conduct crisis exercises aligned with DCC policies, procedures, and ISO 22361 standards to enhance the CMT\’s capabilities. Provide support during crisis incidents, liaising with internal teams, government agencies, industry partners, and service providers for effective crisis response and collaboration. Conduct debriefs and evaluations following crisis events and exercises to identify areas for improvement and recommend updates to crisis management plans and processes. Monitor industry trends, risks, threats and best practices to adapt to crisis management strategies, accordingly, collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders. What are we looking for? Experience managing incidents and crisis events: 3 plus years. Experience designing and delivering crisis management exercises: 3 plus years. Stakeholder management at various levels of seniority. Knowledge of Business Resilience disciplines, including Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery. Familiarity with ISO 22301, ISO 22361, and BCI Good Practice Guidelines. Academic background in related fields is a bonus. Decisiveness: Ability to make tough decisions quickly. Strategic Thinker: Capable of developing comprehensive crisis management strategies. Excellent Communication Skills: Clear conveyance of information to stakeholders. Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to adjust during and after crisis situations. Problem-Solving Skills: Addressing root causes effectively. Team Building and Motivation: Inspiring confidence and maintaining morale within the team.
