DCC is seeking a Test Governance Lead to join our Technology Integration and Assurance Function, part of the System Integration & Testing team. This role is critical to ensuring that DCC’s testing and assurance activities are delivered in line with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards, supporting the successful delivery of change across the smart energy ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on testing and assurance within the regulatory frameworks of the Smart Energy Code (SEC), Retail Energy Code (REC), and DCC’s Licence.
- Review, edit, and occasionally draft key testing lifecycle artefacts including strategy documents, progress updates, and completion reports.
- Maintain a comprehensive library of test governance artefacts for DCC programmes.
- Support the operation of the SEC Panel’s Testing Advisory Group (TAG) and DCC’s Test Assurance Board (TAB), including meeting coordination, artefact management, and reporting.
- Advise on regulatory testing requirements and facilitate discussions with governing bodies such as SECAS and DESNZ.
- Support the Test Governance team and Test Operations Leads with reporting, resource planning, and financial administration.
- Contribute to the evolution of testing and assurance governance across DCC.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to influence outcomes and resolve issues.
