How you will contribute to transforming the smart energy network and shaping the future:
- Own and manage up to four complex, high-value supplier contracts (>£20m) critical to the operation and security of the DCC network.
- Lead contract negotiations, variations and dispute resolution activities, delivering the best outcomes for DCC and its customers.
- Drive financial governance across contracts, including forecasting and ensuring alignment with organisational policies.
- Maintain robust contract documentation and governance, ensuring compliance with internal frameworks and the DCC licence.
- Proactively identify risks, track mitigations and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
What you need to bring:
- Strong experience managing complex, high-value supplier contracts, including performance, governance and lifecycle oversight.
- Proven ability to lead contract negotiations and manage disputes, delivering commercially strong outcomes.
- Solid financial governance skills, including forecasting and interpreting commercial implications.
- Ability to identify efficiency opportunities and drive value for money across contract portfolios.
- Strong organisational and documentation skills, ensuring accuracy, compliance and clear audit trails.
