About the Role
DCC Degree Apprenticeship is seeking a proactive and organized Office Manager to step in on a temporary basis while covering maternity leave. This role is essential to keeping our office running smoothly and supporting our team of apprentices, mentors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
- Manage front‑desk duties, including greeting visitors, handling phone calls, and directing inquiries.
- Coordinate meeting rooms, schedules, and travel arrangements for staff.
- Maintain office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships.
- Support HR processes such as onboarding new apprentices and maintaining personnel records.
- Assist with basic bookkeeping, invoice processing, and expense tracking.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and data‑protection policies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as an office manager or in a similar administrative role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Friendly, approachable demeanor with a customer‑service mindset.
