A senior leadership role accountable for delivering some of DCC’s most complex, high‑value and strategically critical programmes. This is a unique opportunity to lead large‑scale transformation, influence executive‑level decisions, and drive measurable outcomes across the business.

How you will contribute to transforming the smart energy network and shaping the future:
- Translate organisational strategy into programme objectives that align with regulatory, customer and corporate expectations.
- Lead programme governance, establishing decision‑making structures, steering groups, and assurance checkpoints.
- Own and manage multi‑million‑pound budgets, ensuring value for money, financial control and commercial rigour.
- Drive proactive risk mitigation, including interdependency management, recovery planning and horizon scanning.
- Build trusted relationships with regulators, suppliers, internal teams and executive stakeholders, communicating progress and securing alignment.
What you need to bring:
- A proven track record of delivering large, complex, multi‑million‑pound programmes with diverse stakeholder landscapes.
- Strong financial governance experience, including budgeting, forecasting and commercial management.
- The ability to influence and engage effectively at Executive and Board level.
- Expertise in risk management, regulatory compliance and benefits realisation.
- Proven capability in supplier management, procurement frameworks and commercial negotiation.
