We are looking for a highly-organized, enthusiastic Sales Operations Specialist who shows initiative and confidence dealing with senior stakeholders and colleagues. This exciting opportunity requires a team player who maintains the smooth running of all Sales Operations processes while interacting with the Sales, Sales Management, Commercial, Marketing, Technology and CRM functions. You must have passion for producing and dissecting a variety of data to provide key insights and meaningful analysis to sales and corporate functions. You’ll need to be able to assimilate information fast, research and propose solutions to business problems. The responsibilities of the role include:

Sales Operations Specialist Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the extended Sales & Commercial Operations team, Chief Revenue Officer and other members of Sales Leadership team to develop and track adherence of our sales process and strategy
    • Ensure Salesforce is up to date and appropriate reporting and processes are in place for tracking opportunity progress
    • Track and report Salesforce opportunity and pipeline metrics hygiene and work with frontline Sales team to update/improve data quality as and when needed
  • Take ownership of sales pipeline, forecast and performance reporting as well as operational and ad-hoc sales reporting
  • Collaborate with Salesforce Admins to build new process flows, introduce new features, simplify/update old processes.
  • Introduce new Salesforce capabilities around data retention, reporting, forecasting, revenue accounting and other automation and process improvement projects
  • Drive Salesforce CPQ usage and adoption. Build new functionalities and/or enable new features in CPQ. Support Commercial & Order Management team with their queries around CPQ and provide backup as and when necessary. Lead or co-deliver more detailed 121 training to Sales. Be a CPQ SME!
  • Collaborate with Ops Leadership team and Marketing Ops in maintaining and updating MDM processes
  • Execute new territory planning changes in Salesforce to support Sales GTM strategy
  • Learn, develop and manage new advanced reporting and analytics capabilities (e.g. Advanced Excel, Tableau, Quicksight, PowerBI)
  • Collaborate with wider business functions to identify data reporting needs and deliver shared solutions
  • Support sales order processing and collaborate with Order Management Ops team
  • Work closely with Sales Enablement team in identifying training needs and provide user training about new operational processes, tools and best practices

We are looking for a self-motivated, driven individual who takes the initiative and gets things done with the following key skills and experience:

  • 5 or more years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations or similar business function
  • Good understanding of SaaS software sales, solution selling processes and methodologies
  • Advanced understanding of Salesforce ecosystem (Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Data Cloud, Slack, Tableau, etc). Certifications in Salesforce tech and BI tools is a plus!
  • Analytical skills in Salesforce, Excel and other BI tools with ability to articulate what the data means and create engaging data reports and visualizations from scratch
  • Be an advocate of Change with experience in delivering continuous process improvements
  • Experienced in creating sales training materials and delivering tools usage and process training to small groups
  • A team player who creates positive working relationships
  • Extremely well-organized individual with a proven ability to manage conflicting priorities
  • Global SaaS / B2B software experience preferred
