Smart Communications is looking for a driven and commercially minded Demand Generation Manager to join the team.

This hands‑on role is for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced strategy and execution environment, building and running multi‑channel integrated campaigns that generate qualified pipeline primarily for our UK Enterprise sales team.

You will report directly to the Director of Demand Generation for EMEA and work closely with Sales Directors, Business Development Representatives (BDRs), and global marketing colleagues to execute and optimise programmes that accelerate revenue.

Experience marketing Enterprise Saa S to complex buying committees, within Financial Services and/or Insurance is ideal.

This role is UK‑based, with occasional travel to the office, events and as required.

You will have access to a best‑in‑class Mar Tech stack – the tools are there to drive results, and we're looking for someone with the competency to get the most out of them.

Responsibilities

  • Demand Generation & Campaign Execution
  • Build, and execute integrated demand generation programmes, across digital advertising, email, content syndication, events, webinars, and ABM.
  • Own end‑to‑end campaign delivery, from brief and audience segmentation through to landing pages, follow‑up sequences, and BDR hand‑off.
  • Own events process and planning – from pre‑event campaigns, during event activations and presence, to post‑event tactics that create opportunities, and make our brand stand out.
  • Collaborate with the global content and digital teams to localise and adapt programmes for the UK market.
  • Manage UK‑specific event and field marketing activities, including third‑party sponsorships, roundtables, and owned executive dinners.
  • Pipeline & Analytics
  • Take a data‑first approach to everything: define success metrics upfront, build dashboards, track campaign attribution, and report on pipeline influence and contribution at every stage.
  • Own the UK marketing contribution to pipeline targets, providing regular forecasts and variance analysis to the Director of Demand Generation, EMEA.
  • Work in CRM (Salesforce) and marketing automation (Marketo) to ensure accurate lead flow, scoring, routing, and reporting.

  • Represent UK market needs and insights into global marketing planning cycles.
  • ABM & Enterprise Sales Alignment
  • Run account‑based marketing programmes targeting priority accounts, in partnership with Account Executives and BDRs.
  • Maintain tight alignment with the sales team – attend pipeline reviews, provide marketing visibility into the funnel, and act as a credible business partner to sales leadership.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, and media partners to deliver campaigns on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share learnings, avoid duplication, and scale what works.
  • Partner Co‑Marketing & Campaign Execution
  • Develop and manage co‑marketing plans with key partners, ensuring joint campaigns align to pipeline targets.
  • Co‑ordinate the creation and localisation of partner‑facing assets, including co‑branded collateral, newsletters, solution briefs, and landing pages.
  • Manage partner participation in UK field events, roundtables, and webinars, including joint prospecting and post‑event follow‑up co‑ordination.
