Summary

This is a key role within Group Finance for a Global software company backed by a leading PE to help shape the governance, development and optimisation of the Group's finance systems landscape, with OneStream at its core.

Reporting into Group Financial Controller the successful candidate will act as the subject matter expert for financial consolidation, planning, reporting and finance systems architecture. The role will combine accounting expertise with extensive finance systems experience to ensure the integrity, scalability and continuous improvement of the Group's financial reporting and planning environment.

Who are you?

• Extensive hands‑on experience with OneStream, including administration, configuration, governance, development and enhancement delivery.
• Proven experience supporting end‑to‑end financial consolidation, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting processes.
• Strong technical understanding of finance systems architecture, integrations, data governance and reporting structures.
• Experience delivering finance systems implementations, upgrades or transformation programmes.
• Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery.

Finance Systems Ownership & Governance

• Own the administration, governance and strategic development of OneStream and other core Group Finance systems including NetSuite, Databricks, Navan and Power BI.
• Act as the Finance Systems Lead, ensuring systems remain aligned with business requirements, accounting standards and reporting obligations.
• Establish and maintain robust governance, controls, security frameworks and approval processes across all finance systems.
• Lead the design and management of a formal Finance Systems Change Management Framework.
• Ensure all system changes are appropriately documented, tested, controlled and compliant with internal governance requirements.

Financial Consolidation, Reporting & Planning

• Own and support the Group's consolidation, planning, forecasting and management reporting environments.
• Provide expert oversight of consolidation processes including:
  • Intercompany eliminations
  • Multi‑currency consolidation
  • Foreign exchange translation
  • Ownership structures
  • Consolidation and reporting rules
• Partner closely with Group Financial Control and FP&A teams to improve the efficiency, accuracy and scalability of reporting processes.
• Support the production of Board, Executive and Investor reporting packs.
• Support the delivery of the Group's year‑end statutory reporting process and audit requirements.
• Ensure the integrity and consistency of financial data across all reporting cycles.

Finance Data & Integration Management

• Oversee integrations between OneStream, NetSuite and other enterprise applications.
• Own reconciliation, mapping, master data governance and financial data quality processes.
• Ensure financial data architecture supports future business growth and reporting requirements.

Finance Transformation & Continuous Improvement

• Lead system enhancement initiatives across Finance.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Act as a key contributor to broader finance transformation programmes and systems implementations.

Stakeholder Leadership

• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for finance systems across the organisation.
• Deliver training, coaching and knowledge‑sharing sessions to finance users.
• Influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation through strong communication and leadership.

Finance Systems Strategy

• Develop and maintain the Finance Systems roadmap in line with the strategic objectives of the organisation.
• Contribute to the development of a scalable, best‑in‑class finance technology environment.

What we’re looking for:

Must have skills/experience:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong post‑qualification experience.
• Minimum 10 years' experience within Finance Systems, Financial Consolidation, Financial Planning & Analysis, Group Reporting or Finance Transformation environments.
• Demonstrable experience leading or owning enterprise finance systems in a complex, multi‑entity organisation.
