As Payroll Partnerships Development Lead you’ll be responsible for establishing and managing integrations with the Smart Keystone platform to enhance the service proposition and establish Smart as a leader in the payroll marketplace. You’ll support Smart in the acquisition of clients where required and also represent the client in collaboration with their payroll to provide expertise for a smooth and effective set up. You’ll provide expertise in development builds and leverage opportunities to share best practices across clients. Using robust management information to illustrate a business need for improvements and in turn reduce costs and drive revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Focus on market, competitors, trends and new technologies that will improve the interaction between payroll/HR software and the Smart platform to enhance client propositions and differentiate Smart in the marketplace.
- Drive market leading practice within the payroll marketplace in the UK.
- Strengthen the controls in place for platform changes and consider enhancements that will improve the experience of third parties who have integrated with Smart, including API Documentation, API process with third parties, API ‘MOT’, and API reviews with partners.
- Proactively monitor, develop and utilise payroll software integration management information to progress the service proposition and delivery.
- Provide expertise in development builds, ensuring representation of the Payroll party requirements for change whilst leveraging opportunities to share best practices across clients.
- Represent and support clients in their payroll interactions where required to provide payroll expertise in the acquisition and set up of new business.
- Provide consultancy services for clients to help establish and transition to a better and efficient payroll solution, collaborating with internal distribution and implementation colleagues during acquisition and onboarding.
- Deal with complex enquiries and be the main point of contact during the ongoing relationship, liaising with Smart relationship managers – taking onboard queries and complaints.
- Attend meetings with partner organisations to learn from shared challenges and identify opportunities to drive forward improvements.
