THE ROLE

We’re looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Procurement Operations Coordinator to support and optimise our procurement operations and vendor management processes. This role will act as a key point of contact for our procurement platform, supporting internal stakeholders across the business while ensuring purchasing activity, supplier onboarding and contract management processes run efficiently and compliantly. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys improving processes, working cross‑functionally and combining operational coordination with data‑driven insights in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement Platform Ownership: Act as the primary point of contact and internal champion for the Omnea procurement platform. Troubleshoot system issues, resolve workflow bottlenecks and support continuous platform optimisation. Provide day‑to‑day support and guidance to internal users across the business.
  • Purchase Order & Procurement Support: Manage Purchase Order (PO) requests and ensure alignment with internal procurement policies and approval processes. Support stakeholders through the purchasing process, providing clear guidance and ensuring a smooth user experience. Help streamline procurement workflows while maintaining compliance and governance standards.
  • Finance & Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the Finance team to ensure accurate data flow between procurement and finance systems. Support budget alignment for procurement requests and assist with resolving invoice or billing discrepancies. Collaborate with Risk, Legal and other teams throughout the procurement lifecycle.
  • Supplier Onboarding & Due Diligence: Manage the onboarding and renewal process for low‑risk suppliers. Coordinate procurement due diligence activities, ensuring all required supplier checks and documentation are completed. Work with Finance and Risk, Privacy and Cyber teams to ensure vendors meet internal compliance and governance requirements.
  • Reporting & Procurement Analytics: Monitor procurement activity, platform usage and operational metrics. Build reports and provide insights to identify process improvements, cost‑saving opportunities and procurement trends. Support forecasting and budgeting activities through procurement data analysis.
  • Contract & Renewal Management: Track supplier contracts and renewal timelines to ensure timely action and avoid service interruptions or unintended auto‑renewals. Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure contract renewals align with agreed SLAs and business requirements. Maintain accurate procurement and supplier records.
  • Strategic Procurement Support: Support sourcing and vendor evaluation projects through research, coordination and data analysis. Assist with gathering market insights and benchmarking information to support procurement decisions.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workflows and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working with data, reporting and process improvement initiatives.
