Smart City Recruiters are working with a client in the Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health Sectors, working on installations within large scale residential, student accommodation and hotel projects. Our client is looking to recruit 2 experienced Mechanical Estimators to join their highly successful pre-contract team reporting to the Mechanical Estimating Manager.
You would be responsible for the following:
- Production of detailed tender bids and cost plans
- Attending mid and post tender meetings
- Post tender control
- Interfacing with both our existing and prospective new clients
- Communication and interfacing with sub-contractor and supplier companies, using existing companies and generating new leads
The position will involve the day-to-day management of the tender process to ensure standards are maintained and deadlines are met. Whilst mechanically biased, the position also demands a wide knowledge of electrical engineering services.
You will need to demonstrate a broad knowledge of the industry and will have experience in a wide range of sectors, specifically including residential, hotel and student accommodation projects. This is a permanent, office-based position with strong career prospects.

- Working in an integrated M&E team
