The Electrician – Meter Certification is responsible for the installation, inspection, testing, calibration, and certification of electrical meters and associated power systems supporting DSLAM equipment in telecommunications networks. Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and certify electrical energy meters used for DSLAM power supply systems.
- Perform calibration and functional testing of meters to ensure accurate power measurement.
- Inspect electrical panels, circuits, and connections associated with DSLAM cabinets and telecom sites.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and metering standards.
- Maintain documentation for meter certification, calibration records, and compliance reports.
- Diagnose faults in power metering systems and carry out necessary repairs or replacements.
