FTTP Home Installation Engineers We are looking for people who have worked in the telecoms industry as Installation Engineers with experience working at heights and in the telecommunications industry. Working on a FTTP install project we will provide initial upskilling/training and are able to offer the right candidates long term career progression over several years. Job Requirements * Driving to customers houses and premises * Liaising with customers to ensure installations can take place * Adhering to Health and Safety legislation * Working at height – climbing ladders safely * Working in underground telecommunications chambers and in street cabinets * Installing fibre cable to customer premises * Installing a network connection point in customer premises * Explaining the new connection to customers and ensuring they are fully satisfied You will have the following qualifications and be able to prove experience and competence: * Must hold a full UK driving licence * Must be over 21 years of age (for company vehicle insurance) * Confident working at height and in underground network * Excellent communication skills * Hold a valid NRSWA street works Operative unit 2 card (desirable) * Hold or have held PIA accreditations (desirable) * Risk assessment and hazard identification and a strong focus on Health and Safety practices. What’s on offer for successful candidates? * All equipment provided – Tooling, PPE and Uniform * Vehicle * Training provided for various activities Contract Duration & Rates This is a long term contract role and you will be paid for the jobs you complete, see below estimations of jobs and earnings (We would expect people to be achieving an average of 4 jobs per day, once trained and competent) Full install job rates are £45 per job Partial install job rates (step 1 or step 2) are £25.50 per job * 3 jobs per day = £30k per annum * 4 jobs per day = £40k per annum * 5 jobs per day = £50k per annum Full training will be provided * When on training you will be paid £93.75 per day * When buddying you will be paid £93.75 per day
