Job Description Due to continuing growth, we have several opportunities to join SMART Bodyshop Solutions (Reading) Ltd.

We have a rare opportunity available for an experienced Panel Technician to join our current team.

  • Salary Starting from £40,000 (Negotiable)
  • 40 hours per week
  • 4 Weeks Holiday + Bank Holidays

  • Investment in you, Training/Development, further opportunities Role & Responsibilities:
  • Repair and/or Replace Body Panels with accident damage, including structural/ non-structural, chassis and vehicle framework, on commercial and passenger car vehicles.
  • Removing, repairing, refitting damaged vehicles by either repairing damaged panels or by replacing those beyond repair.

All equipment used, including pulling benches and welding equipment, will be operated as per health and safety standards and training provided.

  • Follow recommended repair methods to repair each vehicle safely and correctly.

Where appropriate attend training courses to develop or retain your skills.

  • Identifying and reporting any further damage found not listed on the work instruction.
  • Work to a high standard at all times, maintain an eye for quality and attention to detail, with a problem solving, right first time attitude to your work.
  • Maintain good Housekeeping Standards and Health & Safety regulations, policies applicable to your working environment. xcunqrw
  • Undertake any other reasonable tasks or duties that are deemed to be within your capability, positively as directed by the Site Manager to whom you report directly too.

Requirements: Current IMI ATA/L3 Qualification desirable but not essential, opportunity to achieve Previous Bodyshop experience essential, familiar with Commercial Vehicle repairs advantageous.
