We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage cost and commercial activities for the utilities civils scope on a major station modernisation scheme in London. You will work across drainage, water supply, power distribution, and telecoms infrastructure, supporting the design, procurement, and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain cost budgets and forecasts for utilities civils packages
- Manage variation orders and change control on utilities scope
- Monitor subcontractor invoicing, cost forecasts, and payment applications
- Track expenditure against budget and report variance to project controls
- Liaise with civils engineers and site management on cost implications of design changes
- Manage commercial claims and cost-related correspondence
- Maintain records and documentation to support the commercial position
About You
- Qualified QS (RICS preferred) or equivalent experience in utilities civils or infrastructure cost management
- Proven track record on major infrastructure or station/rail projects
- Strong Excel and cost management software skills
- Comfortable managing multiple subcontractors and work packages
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
