The predicted salary is between 60000 - 75000 Β£ per year.
We are working with a Subcontractor delivering major civils works on HS2, seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support the handover of completed works to the client. Reporting to the Senior Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth, fully compliant close-out of the works package.
Key responsibilities:
- Compiling and finalising handover documentation, including ITPs, as-built records, and close-out packs
- Managing non-conformance reports and ensuring timely resolution prior to handover
- Supporting snagging close-out and verification of completed works
- Liaising with site teams, client representatives, and the Senior QE to ensure handover meets client and HS2 standards
- Maintaining accurate records
- Supporting internal and client-facing audits as required
What we are looking for:
- Proven QA/QC experience on major infrastructure programmes, ideally HS2 or similar Tier 1 civils projects
- Strong working knowledge of ITPs, RAMS, and close-out/handover documentation
- Confident using digital QA platforms (e.g. Asite, Zutec, Viewpoint, or ProCore)
- Relevant tickets: CSCS, SMSTS/SSSTS
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage documentation under time pressure
