As our clients project portfolio continues to grow across Europe, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join their high-performing team in Sines, Portugal, the epicentre of Data Centre projects in Europe. As an Electrical Construction Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of major data centre projects. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all electrical construction activities on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with project managers, engineering teams, planners, subcontractors, and client stakeholders, you will drive project performance while maintaining excellence in safety, quality, and execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement detailed construction plans, including project scheduling, resource allocation, and workforce planning.
  • Coordinate the procurement and installation of electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality requirements.
  • Lead and manage electrical subcontractors, ensuring works are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project standards.
  • Monitor and enforce site health, safety, and environmental requirements, promoting a strong safety culture throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Implement robust quality assurance and quality control procedures to ensure all electrical installations meet required standards and specifications.
  • Track project progress, identify risks, and proactively implement solutions to maintain programme milestones.
  • Monitor project costs, manage budgets, and support cost-control initiatives throughout the construction phase.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and client representatives to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
  • Trade background or relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Construction, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in an Electrical Construction Manager, Senior Electrical Supervisor, or comparable site leadership role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of LV/MV systems, electrical infrastructure, installations, and construction sequencing.
  • Demonstrated experience managing electrical subcontractors on large-scale industrial, commercial, mission-critical, or data centre projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive and results-driven approach.
