Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of a major data centre infrastructure project. The role will have overall responsibility for programme, commercial performance, risk, stakeholder management and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the project from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
  • Manage project programme, budgets, resources, risks and delivery strategy.
  • Lead and coordinate construction, engineering, commercial and design teams.
  • Manage client, consultant, contractor and key stakeholder relationships.
  • Monitor progress against programme and drive recovery where required.
  • Oversee procurement and subcontractor performance.
  • Manage change control, variations, risks and commercial interfaces.
  • Ensure projects are delivered to required health & safety, quality and technical standards.
  • Coordinate complex interfaces across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and specialist packages.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Oversee testing, commissioning, handover and project close-out.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience managing complex, high-value projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Data centre, mission-critical, infrastructure or technically complex project experience highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of construction programmes, contracts, commercial management and risk.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
  • Relevant degree or construction/project management qualification.
  • Experience with NEC/JCT or other major construction contracts desirable.
  • APMP, PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent qualification desirable.
