My client, a Tier 1 contractor, is seeking a Site Engineer with structures experience who is looking for a paperwork and supervision-focused role, supporting the delivery of complex reinforced concrete structures on one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects.

The Role

You’ll be working closely with Section Engineers and Agents, taking ownership of paperwork and quality documentation while supporting site operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with QA documentation and maintaining accurate site records
  • Reviewing drawings and ensuring works are built to specification
  • Preparing and managing Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
  • Collating as-built surveys and handover documentation
  • Liaising with subcontractors and internal teams to resolve queries
  • Supporting the delivery of RC structures and other structural elements

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience as a Site Engineer working on structures (RC frames, bridges, retaining walls, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of QA processes and paperwork management
  • Proficiency in reading drawings and maintaining technical documentation
  • Experience working with Tier 1 main contractors on major infrastructure projects preferred
  • Valid CSCS card and right to work in the UK
