A leading Tier 1 contractor is looking for an experienced General Foreman to join a major infrastructure project with a significant highways package. This is a hands-on supervisory role on a high-profile scheme at the forefront of the UK’s critical infrastructure programme.
The Role
You’ll be on the ground leading the workforce across the highways package, driving productivity, maintaining standards and making sure the work gets done safely and to programme. Day to day you can expect to be involved in:
- Supervising and coordinating labour, plant and subcontractors on site
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality
- Toolbox talks, inductions and day-to-day Health
Looking For
- Proven General Foreman experience on highways or civil infrastructure schemes
- Strong people management and organisational skills
- CSCS Black Card (Supervisory level)
- SMSTS certificate (essential)
- First Aid at Work (preferred)
- Experience working within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 environment
