We're seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage cost and commercial activities for the utilities civils scope on a major station modernisation scheme in London. You'll work across drainage, water supply, power distribution, and telecoms infrastructure, supporting the design, procurement, and delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain cost budgets and forecasts for utilities civils packages
  • Manage variation orders and change control on utilities scope
  • Monitor subcontractor invoicing, cost forecasts, and payment applications
  • Track expenditure against budget and report variance to project controls
  • Liaise with civils engineers and site management on cost implications of design changes
  • Manage commercial claims and cost-related correspondence
  • Maintain records and documentation to support the commercial position

About You

  • Qualified QS (RICS preferred) or equivalent experience in utilities civils or infrastructure cost management
  • Proven track record on major infrastructure or station/rail projects
  • Strong Excel and cost management software skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple subcontractors and work packages
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
