We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the Structures Senior Project Manager in coordinating and delivering multidisciplinary work packages across a major rail infrastructure project. The role involves managing planning, design coordination, procurement, and delivery activities while ensuring safety, programme, quality, sustainability, and commercial targets are achieved.

The successful candidate will have strong experience in rail possession planning and delivery within Network Rail, London Underground, or Crossrail environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate construction, design, procurement, and commercial activities to meet programme requirements.
  • Prepare progress, cost, forecast, and risk reports for project leadership.
  • Attend client and delivery meetings and deputise for the Structures/Substructure SPM when required.
  • Manage possession planning and implementation within live rail environments.
  • Promote collaboration across project teams, stakeholders, and supply chain partners.
  • Ensure works are delivered safely, to quality standards, and right first time.
  • Support team performance management, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven Project Management experience within rail or major infrastructure projects.
  • NEC contract experience.
  • Strong commercial awareness and project controls knowledge.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management capability.
