We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to support the delivery of a major highways infrastructure project in Banbury. This is an excellent opportunity to join a flagship scheme and play a key role in the successful delivery of earthworks, drainage, and highway works packages.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery team in the safe and efficient execution of highways works
- Oversee site engineering activities including setting out and quality assurance
- Manage subcontractors and coordinate daily site operations
- Ensure works are delivered in line with programme, specification, and HSEQ requirements
- Assist with short-term planning and progress reporting
- Review RAMS, ITPs, and technical documentation
- Work closely with Section Engineers and Site Agents to drive delivery across multiple work fronts
- Maintain accurate site records and ensure compliance with project standards
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Senior Engineer on major highways or infrastructure projects
- Strong background in earthworks, drainage, and highways construction
- Competent managing subcontractors and supervising engineering teams on site
- CSCS card essential
- SMSTS preferred
- Experience working within NEC contract environments advantageous
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
