Our Client is seeking a dependable and enthusiastic Yard Operative to join their team in Chesham! This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in keeping things organised and values delivering excellent service to customers.
As a Yard Operative you will be responsible for:
- Order picking & Loading: Accurately pick stock from order notes and load customer vehicles, using manual handling techniques and forklifts
- Customer service: Provide helpful and courteous assistance to customers, ensuring a positive experience
- Stock management: Receive and unload deliveries, organise inventory in the yard and maintain correct stock rotation
- Yard Operative: Working outdoors, picking and packing orders, maintaining a clean and organised yard
- Lifting up to 50kg - shared
Requirements:
- Forklift counterbalance license
- Good timekeeping
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain a tidy workspace
- Willingness to learn and follow safety guidelines
