Job Description
To provide an exceptional food and beverage service to members and their guests, ensuring a seamless and personalised experience that reflects the high standards of the private members' club.
Key Responsibilities:Deliver prompt, professional, and courteous table service at all times
Ensure members and guests are welcomed warmly and attended to efficiently
Take food and beverage orders accurately and confidently answer menu queries
Serve meals and drinks in accordance with club standards and style of service
Set up and clear tables in a timely and discreet manner
Liaise with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service delivery
Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining area
Upsell food and beverage specials when appropriate
Handle member complaints professionally and report to a supervisor when needed
Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
Support club events, private functions, and formal dining occasions as required
Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role in a private club, hotel, or fine dining restaurant (preferred)
Experience with high-end or personalised service standards
Skills & Attributes:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Impeccable grooming and presentation
Ability to work as part of a close-knit team
High attention to detail and discretion
Positive, professional attitude and a commitment to excellent service
Confidence in a fast-paced and high-expectation environment
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings
