Production Welder

Established manufacturing company requires a Production Welder to join their expanding team based in Alcester.

Previous experience in Production Welding is essential to fulfil this position. This role offers competitive rates of pay with access to free car parking. Offered on a temporary to permanent basis, the position of Production Welder is available with immediate start after passing weld test.

Duties and Responsibilities of Production Welder:

1. Working from Drawings
2. Welding materials such as mild and stainless steel
3. Making own jigs to weld the pre-made parts
4. Use specialised machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines
5. Welding various thickness of mild steel (1mm-15mm)
6. Setting welding machines
7. You will also be required to do some fabricating within this role

Skills and Attributes Required:

1. Working as part of a team and individually
2. High attention to detail
3. MIG, Production and Fabricating welding experience is essential
4. Excellent knowledge with Welding machinery, electrical equipment and manual tools

Location: Alcester

Hours of Work: 6am-3pm (Monday-Thursday), 6am-11am (Fridays)

Rate of Pay: £14.04 per hour
