Information Technology organisation requires a tech-savvy IT Helpdesk Technician to join their friendly, close-knit team, providing outstanding IT support. As IT Helpdesk Technician you will play a vital role resolving technical queries, responding to CCTV security system incidents and providing first and second line IT support.
Successful candidate for the position of IT Helpdesk Technician will be proactive and tech savvy with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT support, CCTV monitoring, Door Access Systems and helpdesk operations. Offered as a permanent contract, the role of IT Helpdesk Technician provides a competitive salary, extensive benefits, collaborative, innovative work environment and immediate start available.
Duties of IT Helpdesk Technician:- Provide essential first and second-line IT support to colleagues
- Monitor, manage, and respond promptly to CCTV security system incidents
- Operate helpdesk, effectively resolving technical queries
- Troubleshoot and maintain hardware, software, and network systems
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for escalations and repairs
- Contribute to security projects and ensure systems remain robust, compliant, and efficient
- Participate in an on-call rota, delivering responsive out-of-hours support when needed
- Experienced (minimum 3 years) in IT support, CCTV monitoring, Door Access Systems and helpdesk operations
- Skilled at diagnosing and resolving technical issues promptly
- Strong communicator who thrives under pressure and works well independently
- Certified or trained in CompTIA, Microsoft, or relevant security systems (preferred)
Location: Redditch, Worcestershire
Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £30,000 p.a.
