Smarsh is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Technical Product Manager to lead the design, implementation, and management of runtime network and security services for our platform. The focus is on integrating AI capabilities to enhance security and network operations. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security, performance, and reliability of our platform's runtime environment by delivering robust network connectivity and security capabilities seamlessly integrated into the platform. These services will be offered as products to engineers, empowering them to build and deploy secure and performant applications.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have a strong understanding of and experience with leveraging the latest cloud-native security and networking technologies available on AWS, as well as experience with applying AI and machine learning to enhance security and network operations. As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will be expected to demonstrate strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a proven track record of delivering successful products in a complex technical environment.

How will you contribute?

  • Product Vision and Strategy: Define and articulate a compelling product vision and strategy for runtime network and security services, incorporating AI capabilities and aligning with Smarsh's overall business objectives.
  • Customer Focus: Engage deeply with engineers (internal and external) to understand their runtime security and network needs and translate them into product requirements.
  • Market Research: Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the runtime security and networking space, with a particular focus on AWS advancements and the application of AI in this domain. Identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Requirements Gathering: Gather and prioritize product requirements from various stakeholders, including engineers, security teams, and platform architects, considering the potential for AI enhancements.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Lead and collaborate effectively with engineering, design, marketing, sales teams, and data science teams to ensure successful product development and launch, particularly in integrating AI models and capabilities into the runtime network and security services.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Utilize data and analytics to inform product decisions, measure product success, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide strong technical guidance and direction to the engineering and data science teams during product development, particularly in the adoption and implementation of AWS cloud-native security and networking technologies and the integration of AI models.
  • Product Packaging and Positioning: Package and position runtime network and security services as compelling products for engineers, highlighting their ease of use, benefits, and value proposition, with emphasis on the advantages of leveraging AWS cloud-native technologies and the added value of AI-powered features.
  • Mentorship & Team Development: Mentor and guide junior product managers, fostering their growth and development within the team.
