Purpose of Post
To contribute a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for all children within our Infant department - children aged from 6 weeks to 15 months. To give support to other personnel within Small People. To implement the daily routine.
Key Areas
- Providing a safe and stimulating environment that facilitates learning.
- Organising and supervising play and work activities (for example reading, cooking, music, dancing etc).
- Liaising with parents, carers and professionals such as speech therapists and health visitors.
- Maintaining children's records using iConnect system.
- Monitoring and recording progress.
Hours of Work
Shift pattern Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 27 hours per week.
Essential criteria
NVQ/CACHE Level 2 or 3, 1 year experience of working within the childcare sector.
