Purpose of Post

To contribute a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for all children aged between 0 and 2 years at Small People. To give support to other personnel within Small People. To implement the daily routine.

Key Areas

  • Providing a safe and stimulating environment that facilitates learning.
  • Organising and supervising play and work activities (for example reading, cooking, music, dancing etc).
  • Liaising with parents, carers and professionals such as speech therapists and health visitors.
  • Maintaining children's records using iConnect system.
  • Monitoring and recording progress.

Hours of Work

Shift pattern Monday to Friday, 7am – 7pm

Qualifications

2 years experience of working within Early Years sector.
