Small Luxury Hotels of the Worldâ„¢ (SLH) is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team in London, based at the UK head office. This is a full-time role reporting to the Trade Marketing & Community Manager, positioned in the Global Sales Team.
In addition to providing essential administrative support to our global sales managers, the Trade Sales & Marketing Executive will help the Trade Marketing & Community Manager in delivering trade communications, marketing initiatives, and campaigns with the goal of maintaining strong brand awareness and engagement with our global travel agent communities. The successful delivery of these activities will play a key part in driving incremental sales through our core booking channels (GDS, online via the SLH Travel Trade Hub, and reservations team). You will also be responsible for the day-to-day running of our preferred agency programme withIN.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the travel trade inbox and assist with general enquiries from travel agents, help with registration queries for our online Travel Trade Hub, onboarding new travel agencies, and forwarding enquiries to the reservation team.
- Maintain an accurate, up-to-date travel agent database in our CRM (Salesforce).
- Assist global sales managers in generating reports when requested along with any other ad-hoc administrative support.
- Create and design PowerPoint Presentations for the global sales team to showcase our member hotels to agent partners.
- Build B2B newsletters using Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This includes selection and editing of hotel imagery.
- Track and create performance reports for all B2B marketing activity.
- Share all B2B marketing communications and initiatives with stakeholders by archiving and uploading all activity to CoverageBook.
- Ensure all travel agent collateral is up to date.
- Update imagery and content on our Travel Trade Hub via our Content Management System (Sitecore).
- Execute all administrative tasks for our preferred agency programme withIN. This includes monitoring applications, onboarding new agencies/hotels, updating records, running audits and servicing the withIN inboxes.
- Assist the Trade Marketing & Community Manager to develop B2B social media channels and create relevant, effective and engaging content for our trade audience.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Great interpersonal skills as you will be dealing with various departments across a global organisation as well as travel agents and hoteliers.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Some experience of working in an office environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
- Ability to learn and understand new software.
- Proven record of delivering excellent customer service.
- A good eye for visuals, photography and design.
- Interest in travel and hospitality (particularly the luxury sector).
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
- Team player with a strong ability to self-manage.
- Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, accuracy, courtesy and cooperativeness.
DESIRABLE
- Experience working in the tourism or hospitality sectors (travel agency, tour operator, DMC or hotel).
- Experience working in a sales & marketing environment.
- Experience using Salesforce or another CRM.
- Familiar with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign or Photoshop.
- A flair for copywriting.
