The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Videographer/Editor to join our team in London, based in the UK head office, with the ability to travel extensively globally. This is a full-time role reporting to the Director of Content and working alongside the wider Marketing, Communications and Content team. As our Videographer/Editor, you will be responsible for producing and editing high-quality video content that aligns with our brand's image and captures the essence of our independently spirited hotels. You will work across a range of media platforms, from social media to marketing campaigns, ensuring each piece of content is visually stunning, on-brand, and engaging for our target audiences.
Responsibilities
- Capture high-quality footage of our properties, events, and brand campaigns for a variety of digital platforms.
- Edit raw footage into polished, brand-consistent videos for social media, website, and other marketing channels.
- Work with the communications and marketing team to ensure that all video content supports the brand's messaging and marketing objectives.
- Collaborate with the social media team to create engaging video content for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and more.
- Attend key sales, media, influencer and hotelier events to capture behind-the-scenes footage.
- Manage video asset libraries and ensure easy access for cross-department use.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all video content.
- Stay updated on video production trends, technologies, and social media developments to keep the content fresh and innovative.
- Continuously suggest new ways to elevate our video content strategy.
- Coordinate travel itineraries/logistics to SLH hotels worldwide.
