Small Luxury Hotels of the Worldâ„¢ (SLH) is seeking a motivated individual to help create and maintain information for its portfolio of hotels. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the speedy integration of new SLH properties into the hotel portfolio. The successful individual will need to be highly organised with great attention to detail.
Primary Tasks
- Assist with the production and filing of new hotel contracts.
- Assist with assessment of properties for our growing Considerate Collection of actively sustainable luxury hotels, which currently accounts for approximately 12% of SLH’s total portfolio and growing.
- Assist with monitoring incoming enquiries from properties wishing to join SLH.
- Maintain our database and logins for our hotels to connect to our image distributor, Leonardo.
- Unfulfilled destination research - researching properties in destinations that are not currently featured by SLH, based on places we know from Google Analytics that people are searching for.
The Successful Applicant
- Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and good knowledge of Outlook and Word.
- Must be a team player with strong ability to self-manage.
- Highly organised and self-motivated.
- Preferably some knowledge of hotel or travel industry.
- Strong empathy with luxury brand marketing.
- Would suit someone keen to enter the world of hospitality or take that next step.
Reporting Lines
This role reports to the Head of Property Integration and Considerate Collection.
Place of work
Office based in Victoria, London, UK. Flexible working hours - office based 5 days per week or mix of office and home-based working, but with at least 3 days in the office.
