About the School

Small Heath Leadership Academy is a secondary school in Birmingham that joined Star Academies in 2018. It has a leadership specialism and was rated \”good\” in all four areas of the inspection framework during its inspection in May 2022. The school offers a knowledge‑based academic curriculum alongside a rich and diverse leadership programme that grows character and inspires charitable and social action.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pastoral care and support to pupils and parents.
• Maintain a caring and supportive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to support educational outcomes.
• Use ICT effectively to support communication and record keeping.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 9–4/A–C.
• Previous experience working with learners of all ages or in busy settings.
• Experience supporting pupils and parents.
• Strong organisational, technical and customer service skills.
