Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving software and hardware issues, maintaining and building IT infrastructure, and providing an exceptional standard of service to our clients. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver on-site and remote IT support across a broad range of areas, including software, hardware, endpoints, servers, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently, minimising disruption to client operations.
  • Install, configure, and monitor network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points, conducting regular reviews to proactively identify potential issues.
  • Maintain and support a variety of operating systems, with a primary focus on Windows and macOS.
  • Carry out hardware repairs and maintenance on laptop and desktop PCs.
  • Engage professionally with end users to understand their requirements and deliver appropriate, effective solutions.
  • Accurately document all support activities, ensuring clear and thorough record-keeping.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to continually improve service delivery standards and internal processes.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in an IT support role or equivalent technical position.
  • Very strong command of written and spoken English.
  • Demonstrable experience configuring and managing network devices.
  • Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to troubleshoot across multiple operating systems, software applications, and cloud-based services.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Highly organised, with excellent time management and customer service skills.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

  • A degree in a technical discipline and/or relevant IT certifications.
  • Practical experience in hardware diagnostics and repair.
