Main Purpose of the Role
The London Sales Executive will be responsible for growing business within existing accounts through activations, training sessions and tastings, while supporting the On-Trade Manager. The role also involves identifying and opening new on-trade and independent off-trade accounts in order to meet and exceed monthly team targets and quarterly KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Outstanding Customer Service
- Account Management
- Maintain and develop the existing account base
- Increase Rate of Sale (ROS)
- Improve Point of Sale (POS) presence and overall visibility
- Grow the number of Small Beer lines listed within accounts
- Business Development
- Identify and open new on-trade and independent off-trade accounts
- Build strong relationships across your London territory
- Deliver against monthly and quarterly growth targets
- Brand Activation & Training
- Organise and deliver product trainings and tasting masterclasses
- Act as an educational ambassador for the SMALL BEER brand
- Work closely with Sales & Marketing team to execute activations
- Measure and report on activation effectiveness
- Performance & Planning
- Achieve agreed annual business and personal objectives
- Contribute to financial year planning and target delivery
- Attend company events as required (including evenings and weekends where necessary)
Key Competencies & Personal Specification
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
- Team-oriented with drive and ambition to develop within the business
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Genuine interest in the drinks industry, with awareness of UK on-trade trends
- Highly organised and self-motivating.
Experience & Requirements
- 1–3 years’ experience in sales - ideally drinks // FMCG or within hospitality
- Existing London on-trade network advantageous
- Full UK driving licence desirable
- Comfortable working independently and managing a territory
- Experience using CRM systems preferred
