Sales Administrator – solar inverter sales
Sales and service subsidiary, SMA Solar UK, Milton Keynes, United Kingdom
Key responsibilities:
- Provides first class administrative support to the Sales Manager, our Key Account Managers and Distribution Channel Manager in the UK.
- Is responsible for the effective, timely and accurate processing of offers, General Agreements, Customer Fact Sheets and Pricelists, Credit notes, Tenders including relevant documentation.
- Provides customer support and resolves customer issues via e-mail and over the telephone.
- Acts as a vital link between local customers, key accounts and our SMA headquarters in Germany.
- Efficiently resolves any operational problems and invoice issues.
- Maintains customer database (CRM).
- Ensures on-time booking of all offers and orders and provides timely status and tracking information.
- Organizes trade shows, conferences (in cooperation with the marketing department) and business trips, sales meetings, diary management, catering.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Requires commercial educational and training.
- Has at least two years of professional experience in an order processing and/or sales department in a similar role, preferably within an international company combined with experience in wholesale and foreign trade or export.
- Must be proficient in using MS Office; SAP / CRM, Salesforce knowledge is an advantage.
- Good English language skills; German is an asset.
- Willingness to undergo further training in Western Europe.
- Has excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to work and good organizational skills.
- Works well under stress and with deadlines and is a team player.
Reporting line: Reports to the Sales Manager
Job type: Full-time, Permanent
Compensation: £26,500.00, 28 days annual leave
