We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Cleaning Supervisor to support and oversee multiple cleaning contracts across the outskirts of London, with occasional travel to Peterborough. This is a working supervisor role, meaning you will be required to carry out cleaning duties as well as supervise sites and staff.
Responsibilities
- Carry out cleaning duties as required to maintain service standards
- Supervise cleaning operatives across multiple sites
- Conduct site visits, audits, and quality checks
- Support staff with training, inductions, and daily guidance
- Cover holidays, sickness, and short-notice absences
- Respond to ad hoc client requests and operational issues
- Liaise with the operations team and report on site performance
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures at all times
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience as a cleaning supervisor or senior cleaner
- Comfortable working across multiple sites and travelling when required
- Hands-on, proactive, and reliable
- Strong attention to detail and high standards
- Good communication skills with staff and clients
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Flexible approach to working hours and overtime
